Complete Weed Control director shortlisted for Amenity Sprayer Operator of the Year Award

Sarah Phillips, director of our South and Central Wales team, has been shortlisted as a finalist for the Amenity Sprayer Operator of the Year (ASOOTY) Award. Sarah joins Mark Sippitt from Top Grass UK Ltd and Peter Pattenden from Carden Park Golf Club in the final round of the award that celebrates excellence in amenity spraying.

The finalists were revealed during the Amenity Forum Conference in October, having been selected from the biggest ever entry to the prestigious competition. The Amenity Sprayer Operator of the Year Award is organised by the Amenity Forum and sponsored by ICL and Syngenta.

Ian Graham, managing director of Complete Weed Control, said of Sarah’s achievement: "We are incredibly proud of Sarah for being shortlisted as a finalist. Her dedication, expertise and commitment to maintaining the highest standards in amenity spraying is consistent. This recognition is well-deserved, and we wish her every success in the next stage of the competition."

Sarah added: "I’m so proud to be recognised as a finalist for such a prestigious award. I absolutely love my job and the difference we make, and it’s a privilege to work with such a fantastic team. We take great pride in delivering the highest standards of work for our clients whilst maintaining best practice, so to be shortlisted is a real honour and validation for the effort we put in every day."

The overall winner will be decided after individual interviews with the judging panel, with the final announcement taking place during the BIGGA Industry Awards at the BTME event in Harrogate in January 2025.
